Renovations:
My building at work got a facelift all summer, and so did the parking lot at Cruz's daycare. He loved watching the "dump tractors" and all the digging they did.
It was hot:
We went out for dinner more than I care to mention because when you don't have central AC, it's too hot to cook!
We rode bikes:
Novali finally mastered the bike-riding this summer (sometimes you have to wait until they want to do it), and Cruz really enjoyed being involved. A bike of his own next summer?
Potty-training:
Cruz has been using the potty for a while now. We started in the spring, and in the house he would be sans-pants so he knew what to do when the time was right. Well then we went outside, and when nature calls (& you're a boy)...
We had a great summer and are looking forward to the fall! Who knows what surprises are ahead?!
