Boy v. Girl

The ultrasound was this week. Sam represented "Team Boy" while Novali represented "Team Girl." We had fun looking at the baby's spinal column, hands, legs, and various organs. The sonographer said the baby had "boy parts" so Sam was the gender champion. Novali was disappointed at first, she really wanted a sister and had the name "Olivia" all picked out. (I couldn't tell her I would never name a girl Olivia when Sam is from Bolivia) But later after dinner she told me she was excited to have a little brother. She's been making pictures for the baby all summer leaving the gender/name part blank so she has started putting "Little Brother" on her pictures. Wait until she learns that little brothers get into your stuff.
