I had introduced Cruz to his monkey costume well before Halloween. But he wasn't a fan.
So I bought a jack-o-lantern shirt for him to wear to daycare.
Then he met an "Elmo" at daycare. Sam said that Cruz couldn't stop touching him.
It was cold and drizzling for Trick-or-Treating, so I dug out a firemen's jacket (meant for a future Halloween costume) and we put it over Cruz's coat. Sam had a firemen's jacket from his college years, and we went door-to-door in Cruz's wagon, errr.... fire truck.
